Overview
Southern Health Partners Inc seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse or Paramedic to provide compassionate, clinically sound care within correctional facilities. In this on-site role, you will perform assessments, administer medications and treatments, assist with chronic care and intake screenings, and respond to medical emergencies. You’ll document in EMRs, uphold strict safety and infection control standards, and collaborate closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Perform assessments and monitor patient conditions within correctional facilities.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policy.
- Assist with chronic care management and intake screenings.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide acute care as needed.
- Document care in electronic medical records (EMRs) and maintain accurate records.
- Uphold safety and infection control standards and participate in a multidisciplinary team.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Paramedic licensure (as applicable).
- Ability to work on-site in correctional facilities and collaborate with diverse teams.
