Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a day-shift travel contract at an ambulatory surgery center, requiring Epic proficiency and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

• Active NC or compact RN license required and must be in hand prior to consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ambulatory OR experience preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
• Copy of driver s license required to verify address
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Ambulatory surgery center operating room setting
• Surgical specialties include orthopedics, podiatry, ophthalmology, ENT (adult and pediatric), oral/dental, and endoscopic procedures
• GI/endoscopic procedures performed approximately 3 days per week
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift:
  Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (5x8s)
• Epic EMR required
• Travelers may be floated to any campus within the health system as needed
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG compliance exam; two attempts are allowed operationally — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
• Orientation includes non-billable online modules averaging 2–4 hours, completed during the orientation period
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Any requested time off must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO requests will be accepted
• Third-party education verification is required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
