Quality Leader
LocationOnsite, Mebane, NC
Role and Responsibilities- Conduct test protocols to ensure parts, products, and systems meet specified requirements and customer expectations for incoming, manufacturing, or final inspection quality.
- Support quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing, and validation in the local organization.
- Assist in quality‑related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity with a focus on results.
- Report quality issues data, ensuring adherence to the quality management system at all stages.
- Collaborate in improving existing test protocols and capabilities to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Evaluate quantitative metrics to determine compliance with requirements.
- Train local operational teams in quality assurance and testing routines and verify that testing is performed per the specified control plans.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in using measurement and inspection tools.
- Experience with non‑conformance documentation preferred.
- Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis tools.
- Experience with ERP or MES systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to safely use a ladder and lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Inspector or Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt are a plus.
