Part-Time Campus Delivery Driver - Mebane to High Point & Elon

Ollie’s Great Bakery is hiring a reliable part-time campus delivery driver for our High Point University and Elon University delivery route this school year.

This is a route-based delivery role with pickup in Mebane and delivery to central campus drop-off locations at High Point University and Elon University. This role is a great fit for someone dependable, punctual, friendly, comfortable using phone apps/maps, and looking for consistent part-time afternoon work.

Standard routes are scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from approximately 2:30–5:00 PM. During busier weeks, occasional Tuesday/Thursday afternoon routes may also be available or requested.

Pay is $75 per standard route. A standard route includes pickup in Mebane, delivery to High Point University, and delivery to Elon University.

• Pick up bakery orders from our location in Mebane
• Safely transport bakery boxes, balloons, and customer orders in your personal vehicle
• Deliver orders to designated campus drop-off locations at High Point University and Elon University
• Use a smartphone, maps, and our delivery app to view route details and mark deliveries complete
• Communicate clearly and promptly if any delays, questions, or issues come up during the route
• Handle all customer orders carefully and professionally
• Represent Ollie’s Great Bakery in a friendly, reliable, and professional way

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle
• Must have current car insurance
• Must be consistently available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons
• Must be comfortable using a smartphone, maps, and delivery apps
• Must be punctual, dependable, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator
• Must be comfortable lifting/carrying bakery boxes and crates up to approximately 20 pounds
• Must be comfortable completing deliveries in normal weather conditions such as rain, heat, or cold
• Prior delivery experience is helpful, but not required

• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons

• Starts mid-August
• Occasional Tuesday/Thursday afternoon availability during busy weeks
• Busy periods include mid-August, Halloween, early December, Valentine’s, and late April

• $75 per standard route
• Nearby off-campus delivery requests occasionally come up and are compensated at $5 per additional stop
• Special route opportunities may be available occasionally and are paid as a pre-approved flat route amount based on the expected time and distance of the route
• Pay for special routes will be communicated and approved before the route begins
• Paid training/trial route provided
• Drivers use their own vehicle and are responsible for their own gas/vehicle expenses
