Forklift Position

Job Summary

Jabil, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations. This role involves safely and efficiently moving materials, products, and equipment within the facility, ensuring timely and accurate inventory management. The work schedule for this position is 7:45 AM to 8:00 PM.

• Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, pallet jack) in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, stack, and move materials.
• Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment to designated areas within the warehouse or production floor.
• Verify counts, quantities, and product identification against shipping/receiving documents.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and other material handling equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting, labeling, and organizing storage areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse and production operations.

• Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a fast‑paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Valid forklift certification and/or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Demonstrated understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work the assigned shift from 7:45 AM to 8:00 PM, including potential overtime and weekends as needed.
• Basic computer skills for inventory scanning or data entry may be required.
