Job Summary
Zip Staff is hiring 4 Warehouse Shipping & Receiving / Forklift Operators for a client facility in Mebane, NC. This is a temporary assignment working Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. Reliable workers with strong attendance, safety, and performance may be considered for a temp-to-hire opportunity directly with the client, based on client needs and agreement terms. The role includes shipping, receiving, forklift operation, inventory support, and handling/relabeling chemical products in a warehouse environment.
ResponsibilitiesDuties May Include:
- Loading and unloading trucks using forklifts.
- Picking, packing, transferring, repacking, and relabeling chemical products.
- Receiving, storing, and organizing warehouse materials.
- Lifting, carrying, and moving materials up to 55 lbs.
- Inspecting work for accuracy and completeness.
- Assisting with inventory cycle counts.
- Keeping the work area clean and organized.
- Following SOPs, safety rules, and supervisor instructions.
- Wearing required PPE.
- Supporting shipping deadlines and quality expectations.
- Cross-training and assisting in other warehouse areas as needed.
The client's job description includes forklift loading/unloading, chemical repacking/relabeling, cycle counts, PPE use, housekeeping, and following warehouse SOPs.
RequirementsCandidates should have:
- Reliable transportation to Mebane, NC.
- Availability Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, production, or forklift experience preferred.
- Experience in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, cGMP, or regulated facilities is helpful.
- Ability to follow safety instructions and wear PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks safely and accurately.
Selected candidates must complete Zip Staff onboarding before starting, which may include:
- Valid picture .
- Onboarding documents.
- Background screening.
- Required drug testing.
- Skills interview or assessment.
- Forklift qualification or role‑specific documentation, if required.
- High school or equivalent (Required).
- Day Shift.
- Mebane, NC 27302 (Required).
