We are hiring an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in the bustling city of Mecca. As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and calibrating a wide variety of instruments used in the oil and gas industry. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.
Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters and temperature sensors
- Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or defects in instruments
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Install new instruments as needed
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve instrument functionality and efficiency
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Diploma or certification in Instrumentation or a related field
- Strong knowledge of different types of instruments used in the industry
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in an industrial setting
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and manuals
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to work on a contract basis without accommodation provided
- Experience working with control systems such as PLCs or DCSs
- Knowledge of Arabic language is a plus but not required
