Full Charge Bookkeeper

About the Role:

A growing Mechanicsburg‑based company is looking for a detail‑driven Full Charge Bookkeeper to take ownership of day‑to‑day accounting and support financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys running the books independently and being the go‑to accounting resource for a busy office environment.

What You'll Do:

+ Handle full cycle A/P and A/R

+ Manage general ledger postings and account reconciliations

+ Process payroll or coordinate with third‑party payroll providers

+ Prepare month‑end and year‑end close reports

+ Maintain financial records, journals, and supporting documentation

+ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring

+ Reconcile bank statements and credit card activity

+ Work closely with leadership and external CPA on financial reporting

+ Manage sales tax filings and basic regulatory reporting

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

+ 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

+ Strong understanding of GAAP and full‑cycle accounting

+ Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books preferred)

+ Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables a plus)

+ High attention to detail and ability to operate independently

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills
