We are partnering with a client to hire for an Assistant Controller to support daily accounting operations and assist in leading the accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accountant with strong Excel skills and an interest in process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Support month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations

+ Assist with cash forecasting, reconciliations, and weekly financial reporting

+ Maintain fixed assets, inventory, and construction-in-process accounts

+ Prepare tax filings and support external audits

+ Assist with internal controls and process improvements

+ Supervise and support accounting staff as needed

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

- At least 2 years of accounting experience; public accounting exposure is preferred.

- Strong working knowledge of month-end close, general ledger activity, and financial reporting.

- Experience with account reconciliations, cash forecasting, cash reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Demonstrated attention to detail, sound analytical ability, and strong problem-solving skills.

- Self-directed approach to work, eagerness to learn, and willingness to contribute wherever needed.
