Work Schedule

Choral / Wind / Orchestral rehearsals / performances as required to record enough video footage - this will be mostly evenings, and a few weekends.

Editing can be at your convenience.

Position Description

Position Summary

This position will attend a portion of weekly choral, wind, and orchestral rehearsals / concerts during the academic year to take professional-quality videos. Recordings will be edited with the end result being short videos for social media / marketing purposes.

Should be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Demonstrates dependability and reliability

Maintain a positive working relationship with faculty and staff, especially while recording performances

Dress Code Requirements

Concert appropriate dress when required.

Primary Duties

1. Availability during rehearsal and performance times (you do not need to attend the entire rehearsal or performance, but enough to get the necessary footage)

2. Video record rehearsals and performances on location as requested

3. Ensure that equipment is present and working prior to each performance

4. Edit the footage in post-production (guidelines will vary based on type and length of performance)
5. Post finished videos to various social medial channels, and/or provide the videos to various faculty / staff
6. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
