Description

The Mechanicsburg, PA office of Modjeski and Masters, Inc., National Bridge Group, is seeking a CADD Technician, preferably with 4 years of bridge engineering drafting experience but will consider entry level applicants as well.

What We're Looking For
  • CADD Technician with knowledge of Micro Station or AutoCAD drafting software
  • Experience in 3D modeling in the BIM environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and other team members
  • Ability to effectively receive and convey ideas and information with co-workers and other team members
  • Associate Degree in Engineering Drafting and Design (Preferred)
What You'll Do
  • Draft plans and detailed drawings for transportation projects such as bridges and highways, working from sketches or notes
  • Develop 3D models of bridges and associated structures, establish and maintain a BIM work environment consistent with client requirements
  • Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross-sections and surveys to represent elevations, topographical contours, subsurface formations, and structures
  • Review rough sketches, drawing, specification, and other engineering data received from engineers to develop into contract plans
  • Perform reviews of shop drawings and other construction submittals for conformance with design specifications and drawings
  • Calculate pay item quantities
  • Maintain technically current methodologies
  • Acquire and apply new knowledge to assignments and tasks
  • Perform additional tasks, assignments, and duties as assigned
