We are hiring for a Senior Java Developer for an onsite opportunity.
Role: Senior Java Developer
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA (Onsite Preferred).

Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Senior Java Developers with strong expertise in full stack application development and Integrated Eligibility (IE) systems. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, JavaScript, and Oracle databases, along with domain knowledge of SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid programs. This role involves leading the design and implementation of large scale, secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions while collaborating with cross functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of large scale, complex software systems
Develop and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and Java Script
Build scalable and secure backend services and RESTful APIs
Design and optimize Oracle database interactions and data access layers
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and project stakeholders to deliver enterprise solutions
Apply Integrated Eligibility domain knowledge to support business requirements and technical implementations
Participate in system architecture discussions and technical decision making
Ensure application performance, reliability, scalability, and security
Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical guidance for complex problems
Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices and coding standards
Support Agile development activities including sprint planning, code reviews, and release management
Required Skills:
6+ years of full stack software development experience
Strong experience with Java
Strong experience with Spring Boot
Strong experience with React
Strong experience with Java Script
Experience working with Oracle databases
Experience with Integrated Eligibility (IE) applications
Domain knowledge of SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid programs
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and enterprise application development
Experience designing scalable, secure, and reliable systems
Preferred Skills:
Previous Deloitte project experience
Experience supporting State Government projects
Experience with large scale public sector or healthcare systems
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
Experience with Agile development methodologies
