Seasonal Warehouse Worker / Cover Driver

Looking for a role that offers variety and the opportunity to grow your skills? In this dual-role position, you will be trained to perform both cover drive and warehouse responsibilities. At this time of year, you’ll primarily serve as a seasonal cover driver, stepping in to support delivery operations and keep things moving. When needed, you’ll also be trained to assist as a seasonal warehouse worker.

Your day-to-day assignment will vary based on business needs such as package volume, staffing needs, and seasonal demand. You may rotate between driving and warehouse duties—sometimes week to week, and other times spending extended periods in one role before transitioning to the other.

This is a seasonal position that requires your flexibility. Work opportunities are offered each morning based on operational needs. Schedules vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods.

Cover Driver Responsibilities

• Typically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
• Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles
• Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service
• Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locations
• Meet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirements

Warehouse Worker Responsibilities

• Typically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
• Load and unload packages from UPS trailers and iconic brown package cars (vehicles)
• Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Report for your assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver

What you’ll need:

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Stamina – this is a workout like no other!
• Valid driver’s license—no CDL required (License type varies by state – proof required to qualify for the position)
• Satisfactory driving history
• Pass the DOT physical
• Pass a UPS driver test
• Excellent customer contact and driving skills
• Cover drivers are expected to comply with UPS driver appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

The base pay for this position is $21.00/hour
