The Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The Warehouse Assistant will coordinate the receiving, shipping, and material handling responsibilities in the warehouse by designing and developing product movement and store systems, improving operations, and supporting the warehouse staff. Our ideal candidate will be organized, good communication skills, good management skills, and organizational skills. This is an opportunity for a long term position and to join a growing company.

Responsibilities

* Contribute to the operations within the warehouse, which may include the following: receiving, general warehouse, fulfillment, and inventory control.

* Promote and maintain a safe environment.

* Develop and maintain quality processes and measures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

* Communicate and interact daily with customers, suppliers, and employees to meet customer expectations.

* Lead by example with the highest degree of integrity, promote teamwork, and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.

* Periodic local deliveries via company vehicle to customers.

Requirements and Skills

* Associate's degree or equivalent work experience

* Expertise in warehouse systems, procedures, and best practices.

* Computer skills that include working with MS office products.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Must possess a clean driving record.

* Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

* Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving your whole body such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, pushing, pulling, and handling various materials.
