Materials Handler

Duties

You will receive, examine, and determine the condition of a wide variety of complex items and materials to ensure proper documentation and labeling is provided on freight for overseas movement.

You will maintain accurate inventory records and material receipts using Security Cooperation Management Systems (SCMS).

You will be responsible for handling, packing, banding and wrapping HAZMAT material as required by regulation for air and surface shipments.

You will complete all HAZMAT forms and reports required and maintains necessary records of items and materials sent to other materials handlers.

You will maneuver vehicles to load, unload, move and place materials and equipment in narrow warehouse aisles and on trucks, flatbeds, and containers.
