Our client in Virginia is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for an 18-day assignment beginning May 8, 2026. This role involves providing specialized care for high-risk pregnancies, performing advanced procedures such as amniocentesis, and managing a wide range of complex maternal and fetal conditions. The specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform procedures such as Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villus Sampling, and cerclage (preferred).
- Manage cases involving Pre-Eclampsia, Multiple Pregnancy, Growth Restriction, Chromosomal Abnormalities, Congenital abnormalities, and Pre-term Labor.
- Address conditions including Hypertension, Thrombophilia, Genetic Disorders, and Birth Defects.
- Provide comprehensive care for Vaginal Births and Cesarean Births.
- Oversee any fetal or maternal co-morbidities that elevate pregnancy risk.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine is required.
