Leaf Spring Schools is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic After school Teacher to join our team! This position will be 2-6/6:30pm Monday-Friday with opportunities for more hours during school breaks/summer.

• Support daily program routines including creative activities, snack, and outdoor play
• Supervise and actively participate with children during activities, games, and free play
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized program environment aligned with state licensing regulations
• Foster independence, teamwork, and positive peer interactions using positive guidance strategies
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a welcoming, enriching after school environment

• MUST MEET DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
  Over 21, driving for 5 or more years, good driving record
• Previous experience working with children in after school programs, summer camps, child care, recreation, or youth development
• Understanding of child development principles and developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
• Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to multitask, follow program structure, and adapt to children’s needs
• High school diploma or GED required
