Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized nutrition counseling to patients, considering their medical and psychosocial history.
- Develop and implement customized nutrition plans to support weight loss and overall health.
- Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluate patient progress.
- Assist with dietary adjustments based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and nutrition plans in the EMR.
- Educate patients about the role of nutrition in weight management and disease prevention.
- Perform phlebotomy and EKG as part of patient assessments.
- Conduct follow-up calls to monitor patient progress and address concerns.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential (Required).
- Experience in phlebotomy and EKG (Required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Passion for health and wellness and personally living a healthy lifestyle.
The Dietitian/Nutritionist will ensure each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly and knowledgeable environment. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, answering questions regarding the Medi-Weight loss program, and assisting with laboratory order forms and patient laboratory results. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the clinic.

PayJob Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 hours per week
