Job Title: Tolling Solutions Architect 4

Location(s): Mechanicsville, VA (Hybrid)

• Design enterprise and solution architectures for business applications.
• Create component designs, integration strategies, and implementation plans.
• Lead requirements gathering for:
  • Data and workflows
  • Logical processes
  • Infrastructure and operating environments
  • Cloud/on-prem/hybrid architectures
  • System interfaces and controls
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Produce architecture artifacts:
  • Technical estimates
  • Conceptual/logical/physical designs
  • Sequence diagrams
  • Data models
• Ensure new applications integrate effectively with existing enterprise systems and COTS platforms.
• Assess feasibility, compatibility, and scalability of solutions.
• Collaborate with business teams, enterprise architects, and technical stakeholders.
• Develop technology roadmaps aligned with agency KPIs.
• Implement enterprise security and technology patterns.
• Provide guidance on modernization and legacy system architecture considerations.

• Strong Solution Architecture / Enterprise Architecture experience.
• Experience working in SAFe Agile environments.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Enterprise application integration across multiple business units.
• Business and technical requirements analysis.
• Business process modeling and data mapping.
• Relational database design knowledge.
• Project lifecycle and project-based delivery experience.
• Software QA methodologies and best practices.
• XML schemas and constructs.
• API technologies:
  • REST
  • SOAP
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid architectures.
• Ability to work with cross-functional technical and business teams.

• Candidate should be able to travel to Richmond as needed (up to 1 day/week).
• Webcam interview is mandatory.
