We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex, multi-platform IT initiatives, cloud migrations, and modern technology deployments. If you excel at bridging the gap between business leadership and highly technical engineering teams, we want to hear from you!
Role Details- Position: Senior Technical Project Manager
- Location: Mechanicsville, VA 23116
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 2 days per week onsite)
- Interview Process: In-person interview required
- Technical Leadership: Partner with developers, architects, and technology owners to deliver complex IT projects, including modern cloud modernization and AI automation initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Synchronize timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations across technical teams, leadership, and external vendor partners.
- Risk & Release Management: Proactively mitigate security, technical, and operational risks while managing low-disruption deployment activities and change control.
- Vendor & SLA Oversight: Track vendor deliverables and third-party performance using clear KPIs and SLAs to ensure contractual compliance.
- Active PMP Certification (from PMI) is strictly required-no exceptions.
- 5+ Years of IT Project Management: Proven experience managing large-scale IT project budgets, migration schedules, and cross-functional teams.
- Cloud Architecture Foundation: Strong understanding of cloud computing principles (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and hybrid environments.
- Dev Ops & Automation Familiarity: Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation workflows (IaC, Power Shell, or CLI).
- Azure Migration Tools: Hands-on experience overseeing projects utilizing Azure Migrate, Site Recovery, or Azure Database Migration Service.
- AI Technology Awareness: Working knowledge of modern AI applications (LLMs, Agentic AI, and data-driven automation tools).
