This position reports to:
Supply Chain Manager - Traction.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

Work model:
Onsite. This role contributes to the Motion product group/Traction business in North America region.

• Initiate Purchase Orders in the system, according to purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirm delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
• Negotiate agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renew price lists and terms and conditions.
• Recommend frame agreements to management and execute upon approval.
• Analyze and evaluate bids to determine the optimal value.

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP), relevant tools and methodologies, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Also relevant experience in the Electrical industry/manufacturing sector.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing purchasing department.
• Experience in supply management and quality processes, working with projects, contract law, commercial terms, standard procurement procedures and related company policies.
• Capacity to maintain partnerships with internal and external collaborators.
• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing purchasing department, or Master’s Degree with minimum 2 years of experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current work authorization that permits employment in the US.
