Full‑Time Housekeeper at Covenant Woods
, Hanover County. Minimum starting pay $15.00 hourly.
Schedule:
7:00 am – 3:30 pm with flexible‑negotiable days.

Qualifications & Skills- Must be able a good communicator.
- Knowledge of housekeeping methods and the use and care of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Knowledgeable in the use of floor cleaning equipment, washer and dryer machines desired.
- One year of housekeeping experience preferred.
- Work requires standing and walking for most or all of the workday.
- Stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, crawling, twisting, and reaching are required frequently.
- Must be able to lift and carry an average of 10 pounds up to maximum of 20 pounds; push or pull an average of 15 pounds up to a maximum of 30 pounds.

Job Responsibilities
- Performs day to day housekeeping function for cleaning designated area.
- Responsible for removing trash to appropriate area(s).
- Carries out work order requests from the residents.
- Assists other housekeepers as required.
- Responsible for completing job assignment and work order sheets.
- Embrace and model Covenant Woods business standards, Code of Conduct and focus on the Promise in all aspects of delivery of service.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Work requires standing and walking for most or all of the workday. Use of the hands is required for at least half of a day. Stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, crawling, twisting, and reaching are required frequently. Must be able to lift and carry an average of 10 pounds up to maximum of 25 pounds; push or pull an average of 15 pounds up to a maximum of 30 pounds.
Team lift up to 50lbs. Intact sense of sight required. Must be able to communicate, interpret, speak, write and read English.
- May work in environments with dust, fumes or odors. May work inside or outside in hot or cold temperatures and in wet or dry conditions.
- May work around infections, odors, or diverse behaviors. May work around loud noise and stand on concrete.
- Usually works alone.
- Hours will be set by the Associate Director of Environmental Services and can be changed as deemed necessary to carry out work requirements.
- This is an essential personnel position and required to work during inclement weather and emergency situations.
