Compensation & Schedule- Pay: $19.00–$23.75/hour (base pay), plus shift differentials
- Schedule:
Full-Time | 40 hours per week - Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Rotation:
Consistent two-week rotating schedule with every other weekend required
- Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant CNA
- CPR/AED Certification
- First Aid Certification
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide hands‑on care and support to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You'll assist with daily living activities, promote comfort and dignity, help maintain a safe environment, and build meaningful relationships with the residents you serve.

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Measure and record vital signs, weights, food intake, and other resident information accurately.
- Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
- Safely assist residents with transfers using wheelchairs, walkers, mechanical lifts, and other equipment.
- Support restorative care and resident activities as directed.
- Help maintain clean, organized resident rooms and common areas.
- Communicate changes in resident condition promptly to the Charge Nurse.
- Document resident care accurately and timely.
- Follow all safety procedures, infection control practices, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in required training, staff meetings, and continuing education.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care while creating a positive experience for residents and their families.
Required
- Current Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to quality resident care
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Push and pull resident equipment
- Safely assist residents with mobility and transfers
- Operate mechanical lifts and other resident care equipment
- Clean, well-maintained healthcare environment
- Collaborative and supportive team atmosphere
- May involve exposure to infectious diseases, odors, and residents with varying physical and cognitive needs.
