- Experience: 2+ years in inpatient cardiology or related field
- Hourly Rate: $14.74 per hour

- Collaborate with an interventional cardiologist to provide inpatient care
- Manage new patient admissions, follow-up visits, and discharge planning
- Perform rounds and documentation within the EPIC EMR system
- Coordinate comprehensive inpatient cardiovascular care
- Utilize independence in managing inpatient cardiology cases
- Respond to call responsibilities, with a ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
- Support patient management for adults and geriatric populations
- Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with cardiology experience
- Active RN or APRN license in Virginia
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, DEA - 2+ years of inpatient cardiology or similar experience
- Strong documentation and independent decision-making skills
This inpatient cardiology coverage is for a COVID-19 de novo site at a leading hospital in Mechanicsville, VA. The role involves working closely alongside an interventional cardiologist to provide expert inpatient cardiovascular care efficiently and effectively. The position offers a supportive environment with an emphasis on quality patient management and team collaboration.
