Crane and Forklift Dock Operator

Manpower -  - Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move cargo safely and efficiently;
Plan and execute lifts using load charts and calculations to ensure proper weight distribution and secure attachment of cargo;
Perform daily safety inspections on cranes and lifting gear, reporting defects or malfunctions promptly;
Follow safety protocols in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulations, using radio or hand signals to coordinate with ground crew;
Secure cargo with straps, chains, and other securing devices to prevent shifting during transport and maintain organized dock areas
