• Assignment Start Date: November 28, 2024
• Assignment End Date: February 2, 2025
• Work Schedule:
  • November 28, 29, 30;
    December 1
  • December 27, 28, 29
  • January 3, 4, 5;
    January 24, 25, 26
  • January 31;
    February 2

• Call Coverage: Provide on-call coverage for unassigned patients
• Admissions Required: Yes
• Patients Per Shift: 4
• Practice Setting: Inpatient only

• Board Certification: Required; fellowship in Gastroenterology preferred
• Licensure: Must hold an active medical license in Massachusetts
• BLS Certification: Required; other certifications (ACLS, ATLS, PALS) are not required

• Proficiency in various gastroenterology procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
  • ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography)
  • Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
  • Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
  • Liver biopsy
  • Esophageal manometry and dilatation

• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30-90 days
• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
• Insurance: Provided by the vendor
• Support Staff: Availability of nursing and other support staff to assist during the assignment

• Hospital Trauma Level: 4
• Inpatient and Outpatient Care: Inpatient only
• Rounding: Unassigned patients
