Montrose School is an independent school for girls in grades 6-12, guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church. Founded in 1979, it is located in Medfield, 17 miles southwest of Boston. Montrose School attracts a talented and growing student population from over 50 towns and communities. The mission – educating young women who are called to greatness.

Responsibilities

Montrose School seeks to appoint an experienced middle or upper school math teacher to join our professional learning community starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will be an accomplished educator with teaching experience in the courses of pre-algebra through pre-calculus. This innovative educator brings a passion and enthusiasm for helping adolescents acquire a high level of proficiency in the subject matter.

We seek teachers who are passionate about their subjects and dedicated to guiding students in strong academic habits and are committed to collaborating, reflecting and growing in their teaching practice.

Qualifications

Strong applicants should have significant coursework in a relevant subject; a master’s degree is preferred, but not required; an interest in curriculum development; an appreciation for all-girls’ education; and at least three years of classroom experience is preferred. Our teachers are mentors to individual students and club leaders. Qualified applicants should submit a letter of interest, a resume and three references.
