Job DescriptionBlake Middle School is seeking an Adjustment Counselor to join their team beginning the school year. School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor Certification is required.
Salary and BenefitsUnit A: $55,234–$118,363 (Doctorate $125,567)
Unit B: $20.25/hr–$32.61/hr
Custodians: $46,780 – $59,130
Food Service: $16.23/hr – $20.17/hr
Admin Assistants: $20.78/hr – $29.77/hr

A. Blake Middle School is to create a challenging and supportive atmosphere where each student, during the transitional years, is encouraged to explore and develop unique academic skills, artistic talents and physical and personal strengths. Blake Middle School offers an engaging curriculum that sets high expectations for all learners. It exposes them to a broad knowledge base, builds basic skills and develops critical thinking and problem solving skills.
This requires that the curriculum be student centered and that students become active learners. A continued effort connects content material with life experiences, providing powerful and relevant learning for young adolescents. Throughout the school year, the skills of the 4R's of responsibility, respect, resourcefulness and reflection are incorporated into all content areas to help students become more successful life long learners.

Job Requirements- At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
