Accounts Payable Manager

Our client is hiring for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. This role will lead and oversee day‑to‑day AP operations in a fast‑paced, fully onsite environment. The position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment processing while managing and developing the AP team.

• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the AP team, including workload distribution, training, and performance support.
• Review and approve invoices, payment runs, and exception items in accordance with internal controls.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor inquiries and payment discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal control standards.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance leadership on month‑end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and support audits as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of accounts payable experience, including people management or team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of full‑cycle AP processes and internal controls.
• Experience working in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work fully onsite and collaborate cross‑functionally.
