Business Office Manager – Skilled Nursing Facility

We are seeking experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Business Office Managers to join our skilled nursing facility teams throughout Massachusetts.
The Business Office Manager plays an essential role in the financial operations of the facility. We are looking for candidates who understand the unique requirements of the skilled nursing/long-term care environment and can successfully manage billing, collections, accounts receivable, resident funds, and payer processes while providing exceptional service to residents and families.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day Business Office operations
- Manage billing, collections, and accounts receivable
- Ensure accurate and timely reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid/Mass Health, Managed Care, and private-pay accounts
- Manage resident trust accounts and required documentation
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on collections
- Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal requirements
- Prepare and monitor financial and accounts receivable reports
- Work closely with residents, families, responsible parties, and outside agencies
- Collaborate with facility leadership and interdisciplinary departments
- Support census, revenue, and financial goals
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of resident and financial information
- Provide excellent customer service while handling sensitive financial matters
- Previous Business Office Manager experience in a skilled nursing facility strongly preferred
- Knowledge of skilled nursing billing and reimbursement
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid/Mass Health, Managed Care, and private-pay billing
- Experience with resident trust accounts and collection processes
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy, professionalism, and integrity
- Point Click Care experience preferred
