Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dentist role based in Medford, MA. The Dentist will perform comprehensive examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and provide treatments such as restorative procedures, root canals, extractions, crowns, implants, and Invisalign-based orthodontic care. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating treatment plans, administering local anesthesia, supervising clinical staff during procedures, and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

The Dentist will educate patients on oral hygiene, discuss treatment options and costs, maintain accurate clinical records, and collaborate with the team to deliver timely and effective care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution; current and valid Massachusetts dental license.
• Clinical expertise in general dentistry, including preventive care, restorative procedures, extractions, root canals, crowns, and implants.
• Experience or training with Invisalign or other clear aligner systems is highly beneficial.
• Strong patient communication skills, including the ability to explain treatment options, obtain informed consent, and provide empathetic chairside care.
• Commitment to infection control, OSHA and HIPAA compliance, and adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with hygienists, assistants, and front-office staff in a fast-paced practice setting.
• Attention to detail in charting, treatment documentation, and follow-up care planning.
• Prior experience in a general dental practice setting is preferred; familiarity with dental practice management software is an advantage.
