Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Medford High School is seeking a dynamic Information Support Services & Networking (ISSN) Instructor to deliver high-quality, hands‑on instruction aligned to Massachusetts Chapter 74 frameworks. The instructor will prepare students for careers and postsecondary pathways in IT, networking, and cybersecurity.
Responsibilities- Deliver competency‑based instruction in networking, hardware/software, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Integrate academic literacy, numeracy, and employability skills into technical instruction.
- Supervise and assess student learning in lab‑based environments.
- Maintain industry‑standard equipment and safe lab practices.
- Engage with Program Advisory Committee and industry partners.
- Support credentialing opportunities (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco).
- Massachusetts DESE Vocational Technical Teacher License in Information Support Services & Networking (ISSN) (9–12), or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Relevant industry experience in IT/networking.
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Ability to meet Chapter 74 program requirements.
- Position contingent upon funding.
Salary is in accordance with the Medford Teachers Association
