Industrial Services Supervisor

The Industrial Services Supervisor oversees all maintenance functions necessary to keep plant utility services in operating condition at the Medford facility. Responsibilities include supervising and training Industrial Services technicians and contractors, managing building and utility maintenance, maintaining the Legionella program, overseeing the DMO log system, preparing the utility budget, and ensuring compliance with all Nestlé policies, local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coach, and train utility technicians and third‑party contractors for daily plant operations.
  • Direct exterior building maintenance, HVAC units, exhaust fans, and other building services.
  • Plan and maintain plant utilities (refrigeration, compressed air, HVAC). Maintain the Legionella program.
  • Work with the Factory Engineer to develop and maintain the utility budget.
  • Develop and maintain the preventative maintenance program (AMM, Nestlé Maintenance Strategy, CDM).
  • Ensure compliance with all city, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, IEEE, NEC, ASME, ANSI, PSM/RMP).
  • Plan factory shutdown activities and coordinate related inspections and system overhauls.
  • Coordinate Nestlé compliance testing as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
  • Documented field experience or post‑secondary education in one of the engineering disciplines.
Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of direct experience in building utilities systems.
  • Experience managing direct reports and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Previous food plant experience in a USDA inspected plant is beneficial.
  • Experience planning and executing utilities budgets and projects.
  • In‑depth knowledge of production and operational systems: chillers, air handlers, electrical systems, water, gas, vacuum, and compressed air/gas systems.
  • Availability for 24/7 emergency coverage.
