Administrative Attendance Coordinator

Purpose:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Human Resources provides support to the department for the purpose of employee attendance, workers compensation reporting and unemployment.

Essential Functions:

• Management of faculty and staff daily attendance including maintaining administration software system for the purpose of sick, vacation and personal time.
• Maintains information regarding leaves of absence.
• Manages workers compensation claims/communication.
• Administers, maintains and authorizes unemployment claims.
• Provides substitute and unpaid updates to the payroll department.
• Prepares reports from the HR database as required or requested.
• Serves as a system administrator for HR database for resetting login or user access.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Maintains various human resources documents.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to understand, apply, and use computers and software applications (Google, Microsoft Word/Excel).
• Ability to problem-solve job-related issues.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding school personnel.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (minimum) Associates Degree or higher preferred.
• Successful experience as Administrative Support in Human Resources, a minimum of three years.
• Salary in accordance with the Medford Educational Secretarial Association Union Contract Schedule A $58,500-$63,675.
