The position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hardware and software systems across the District. The role provides technical support both on-site and remotely, troubleshooting a wide range of computer issues and ensuring the smooth operation of network equipment and peripheral devices. This position supports staff by configuring and maintaining technology needed for effective day‑to‑day operations, while also performing preventive maintenance and upgrades to maintain system reliability and security.

- Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of hardware and software issues for school personnel
- Provide technical support by researching software problems and training users on applications
- Set up and install new equipment, including configuring network connections and running cables
- Perform district wide preventive maintenance and upgrades, including antivirus updates
- Maintain and repair loaner equipment, projectors, phones, printers, scanners, cameras, iPads, and Chromebooks
- Ensure all Wi‑Fi devices are operational and replace devices as directed
- Keep accurate inventory records and assist with IT‑related project tasks as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- One to three years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting Mac and PC systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferred certifications:
Google and Microsoft certifications in networking and hardware - Knowledge of operating systems (Mac OS, Google, and Windows), Microsoft Office suite, Google Office Suite, network hardware (switches, routers), and PC components
- Ability to install, configure, and repair software, hardware, networks, and peripherals
- Strong analytical skills and ability to apply standardized procedures with sound judgment
Work year is 260 days with flexible full‑time hours for the supervision of various shifts. Competitive salary commensurate with experience, with a pay range of $65,000-$70,000
