Fabrication Operator

Hamilton Kent, founded in 1943, is a multinational manufacturer of elastomer products for infrastructure. We are looking for a Fabrication Operator to work at our Winchester, Tennessee facility.

The Fabrication Operator operates and runs machinery to support efficient production while adhering to safety expectations. The position follows a schedule of Monday‑Wednesday 7am‑7pm or Thursday‑Saturday 7am‑7pm.

• Operate and run production machinery.
• Troubleshoot and address production process problems as they arise.
• Read and execute technical documentation and work instructions.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure and follow quality procedures (pin holes, splicing, accurate count, shipping labels, etc.) and complete production records.
• Adhere to ISO quality and production requirements.

• Working knowledge of micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauge pins, impact testing and pressure test equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve production issues independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Good mobility and ability to lift less than 25lb., pull, bend, stand, and walk as required.

• Basic hand tools, utility knife, measuring tools, inspection tools and gauges (e.g., pipes, micrometer)

The role is almost 100% plant‑based with light to moderate physical labor. Employees must have good mobility and be comfortable with occasional lifting (up to 25lb.), pulling, bending, standing, and walking. Exposure to heat and use of share blades for cutting rubber are typical. Safety gear such as shoes, glasses, gloves, and aprons are required.

Pay starts at $17.56 per hour.
