WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provides clinical education for home health staff, including new hire orientation and ongoing training
- Assesses learning needs and develops educational programs
- Collaborates with leadership to ensure compliance with safety, competency, and policy requirements
- Supports staff development, certification, and professional growth
- Maintains clinical expertise and serves as an educational resource
- Promotes patient safety and adherence to protocols
- Evaluates training effectiveness and outcomes
- Partners with clinical teams to support quality care and operations
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN), nursing education, or closely related field
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing or other related field such as OT or PT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 3+ years of experience in nursing, healthcare operations, educational experience, EMR trainer.
- 2-5 years of clinical content development experience.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
- Strong technical proficiency with demonstrated ability to leverage technology for training & education
- Homecare experience
- Oasis Experience
- Occasionally required to stand.
- Occasionally required to walk.
- Frequently required to sit.
- Continually required to use hands and fingers.
- Occasionally required climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
- Occasionally required to lift/push light weights (less than 25 pounds).
- Ability & willingness to travel locally and nationally approximately 25% of the time. Travel may be by car or plane. Weekend and/or evening travel may be required on occasion.
