Assistant Nurse Manager – Laurel Hill, Medford, MAMonte Nido Laurel Hill, located in Medford, MA, is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Our treatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.
We are seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) to assist in leading the nursing team for our 10‑bed residential facility.
Position:
Full‑time, 36 hours per week – 12‑hour nighttime shifts. On‑call responsibilities are shared with the Nurse Manager.
Compensation: $41.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to oversee operations, nursing medication administration, and medical treatment.
- Participate in scheduling, leading, and developing nursing staff.
- Ensure medical safety standards are followed and the work of nurses is consistent with the standards of practice for their license.
- Liaise between administration, physicians, pharmacy, clinical staff, and clients on behalf of the Nurse Manager or as assigned.
- Share call rotation with the Nurse Manager as part of this full‑time, salaried‑exempt leadership role.
- Active license as a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse (or license‑eligible); a BSN or pursuit of a BSN is desired.
- Previous experience in a nursing operations leadership role, in a hospital or residential setting, is desired.
- Professional nursing experience with mental health or behavioral health patient populations is very important.
- Excellent communication and time‑management skills, safety awareness, and collaborative teamwork are required.
- Must hold current CPR/BLS certification prior to starting work;
Monte Nido will provide if needed.
