JOB SUMMARY
Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments, and document patient progress.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor patients for changes in condition and report to the Registered Nurse.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and coping strategies.
- Participate in treatment team meetings.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.

Required Qualifications- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
