The Mobile Associate (MA) works as part of a Retail Team, acting as a brand ambassador and customer advocate. This learning role focuses on building the skills required for a future promotion to Mobile Expert.

• Help customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care or in‑store
• Explore individual needs and provide hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology in‑store
• Side‑by‑side sell personalized solutions beyond the bare‑bones device and service plan, including accessories and emerging IoT devices
• Guide customers through the purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers and shared expertise
• Approach service and sales needs with patience, honesty, and empathy
• Become proficient in digital tools that enhance interactions and onboarding, demonstrating coverage quality, plan benefits, and service differentiation
• Complete training on in‑store experience, new skills, processes, system knowledge and reference resources
• Build relationships with and partner across channels, collectively owning the customer experience and resolving issues seamlessly
• Identify and hand off small business leads
• Develop strong peer relationships, holding each other accountable for company success
• Maintain a positive and engaging environment while delivering first‑class customer service

• Strong desire to learn and master customer advocacy skills and build meaningful connections
• Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment
• Willingness to collaborate with peers and store leaders, sharing best practices and resolving issues
• Ability to balance customer experience with performance goals
• Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school degree or GED required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs
• Reliable transportation
• Full‑time (40 hours) or part‑time (20+ hours) availability
