As a Field Merchandiser Floater you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Salary and Schedule Details- Hourly pay rate: $16.00 to $17.00, depending on skills and experience.
- Paid training – live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom.

- Variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours: 5–10 per week.
- Required availability week before and after major holidays (may include weekends).
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
You’ll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores. The position consists of three major components:
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products. Use technology for communication with supervisors, reporting, feedback, and surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- Holiday support: Provide additional days and extended hours during the work week around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May be required to work on the actual holiday, including weekends.
- Department resets: Participate in installations, building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance; may include evenings or weekends.
- Team collaboration: Support other team members as needed in their territories.
This physically demanding job requires the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Requires kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and using step ladders.
Basic Qualifications- Minimum age 18 years.
- Proficient reading, writing, and understanding of English.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to operate a digital hand‑held device.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and internet.
- Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores.
