Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers and set expectations
- Custom fit glasses & place prescription in lenses accurately
- Act as a leader in optical acumen
- Take & record measurements, adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards & customer needs
- Assist team with complex product needs & prescriptions
- Accurately use technology despite time pressure & customer volume, demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and appropriate tool use
- Proactively explore root causes of issues, forward‑think to ensure customer satisfaction and expectations are exceeded, solution‑driven
- Multi‑task, prioritize & manage time amid competing priorities
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs & competencies
- Maintain store appearance, help keep the store clean, attractive & organized
- Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices
- Be resourceful, self‑motivated, with a desire for continual learning, improvement & results
- Adhere to company policies & procedures, including discounts, promotions & inventory management
- High School graduate or equivalent
- State licensure
- Optical dispensing experience
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder
- Knowledge of current store merchandise
- Strong basic math skills
- Aware of current fashion trends
- Selling skills – ability to use & carry an iPad/tablet
- Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators
- Embrace new technology & change
- Previous customer service & retail experience
Pay Range: $33.69 - $39.02
Employee pay is determined by factors such as geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first‑class total rewards package.
