Assistant Store Manager

Position: Full-Time Assistant Store Manager
ALDI -  - Responsibilities:
Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results;
Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports;
Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports;
Monitor the competitive environment and adjust as needed to maintain competitive position;
Provide product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue;
Participate in interviewing store personnel;
Communicate weekly information and major milestones to team;
Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies;
Resolve customer concerns in the absence of the direct leader;
Identify and rectify hazards and maintain store equipment;
Maintain store cleanliness and signage;
Assist with maintaining stock levels through product ordering;
Merchandise products neatly to maximize sales;
Ensure quality and freshness of products and accurate signage;
Assist with payroll, inventory counts, and training of new employees;
Supervise day-to-day team operations and escalate issues as needed;
Ensure direct reports complete assigned responsibilities to deliver customer service
