The Retail Event Marketer is responsible for generating high-quality leads and building brand awareness through direct customer engagement at events, outreach, and big-box retail locations. This role requires an energetic, outgoing individual who excels at face-toface interaction and customer engagement. Responsible for exceeding lead targets and goals administered by the Territory Field Marketing Manager.
Role Description and Expectations
• Engage customers to generate and qualify leads
• Initiate conversations to build interest and brand awareness
• Capture accurate customer information and set appointments
• Represent the brand at retail stores and events
• Set up and maintain booths and in-store displays
• Maintain a professional, branded presence
• Act as a brand ambassador delivering clear messaging
• Provide excellent customer experiences
• Accurately document leads and track daily performance
• Follow processes, procedures, and company compliance standards
• Effectively Communicate with the Field Marketing Manager
• Adhere to assigned schedules, maintain punctuality, and meet all location
coverage requirements
Qualifications
• Experience in retail, events, customer service, or lead generation preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing personality and confidence engaging customers
• Self-motivated and goal-driven
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Availability to work evenings and weekdays/weekends
• Smartphone required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Sales-oriented mindset with competitive drive
• Ability to handle objections and maintain engagement
• Strong customer interaction skills
• Attention to detail in data entry and reporting
• Ability to meet performance goals consistently
Travel Requirements
• Local travel within assigned territory
• Reliable transportation to work assigned schedules within the field market territory
• Occasional overnight stays
Compensation
• Hourly base pay of $18–$20, based on experience, plus bonus structure
• Opportunity to increase earnings through consistent performance and exceeding
targets
