Inside Sales Representative – Industrial Engine Parts & Power Generation

Energy Choice, Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Inside Sales Representative to support customers in the power generation, natural gas, oil & gas, and industrial engine markets. This position is responsible for processing customer orders, preparing quotations, identifying replacement parts, and providing exceptional customer service to power plants, service companies, distributors, and industrial end users.

The ideal candidate is organized, technically inclined, and enjoys building long‑term customer relationships while helping customers quickly identify the correct replacement parts for their equipment.

• Receive and process customer orders via phone, email, and online channels.
• Prepare accurate quotations for industrial engine and power generation parts.
• Assist customers in identifying OEM and aftermarket replacement parts.
• Follow up on quotations to convert opportunities into sales.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse personnel to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
• Enter orders accurately into the ERP system.
• Track open orders and communicate delivery updates to customers.
• Resolve customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, order status, returns, and warranties.
• Cross‑sell and upsell complementary products including filters, spark plugs, lubricants, gaskets, bearings, sensors, and engine components.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities within the CRM system.
• Work closely with outside sales and technical support teams.
• Meet individual sales and customer service performance goals.
• Stay current on products, engine applications, and industry developments.

• Experience selling parts for one or more of the following industries:
  Natural gas power generation, Combined Heat & Power (CHP), Gas compression, Oil & Gas, Marine engines, Industrial engines, Power plants.
• Experience with engines such as:
  Jenbacher, Caterpillar, Waukesha, MTU, MWM, Wärtsilä, Cummins.

• 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or industrial parts sales experience.
• Experience processing customer orders in an ERP system.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret parts catalogs and exploded drawings.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience using CRM and ERP software preferred.
• Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills.

• Experience in industrial engine parts or power generation equipment.
• Knowledge of OEM and aftermarket replacement parts.
• Technical understanding of gas engines and power generation systems.
• Experience working with distributors, contractors, and industrial maintenance personnel.
