Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer
Location: 436 Riverside Ave, Medford, MA 02155
Shift: Monday – Friday 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm
Pay: $25.69 per hour plus shift differential
As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you will ensure vehicles are fueled, washed, and ready for customers. You greet and assist customers, perform readiness inspections, maintain clean and safe facilities, and learn vehicle maintenance fundamentals that can lead to a technician career.
Main Responsibilities- Greet customers and provide excellent service while fueling and washing vehicles.
- Perform vehicle readiness inspections to verify tires, fluids, and basic maintenance items.
- Maintain clean and safe facility environments for customers and associates.
- Learn and perform minor repairs, including tire installation, replacement or rotation, and preventive maintenance tasks through training and coaching.
- Complete additional projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

- High‑school diploma or equivalent; prior work experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred).
- Basic computer skills.
- Compliance with Penske guidelines, DOT, OSHA, and safety policies, including proper use of PPE and tools.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance.
- Maintenance of a current driver qualification file as required by DOT regulations.
- Move frequently and stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods.
- Use hands routinely to grasp, reach, touch, and operate tools or controls.
- Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms.
- Work safely in all weather conditions.
- See and hear clearly to navigate a workplace with moving trucks.
- Lift or move up to 50 lb (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lb (45 kg) occasionally; push/pull truck tires exceeding 100 lb.
