Camper Support Coordinator - Lake Stockwell

Overview

The Camper Support Coordinator position is responsible for providing support to campers who may need additional assistance in their daily camp experience. This role ensures all campers can fully participate in activities while fostering an inclusive and supportive camp environment.

• Resposible for revewing camper forms and communicate information to the appropriate staff.
• Provide Unit Directors and Head Counselors with rescourses in helping campers adapat to schedule changes, behavior challenges, group dynamics, etc.
• Communicate with campers’ gurdians, on a as needed basis.
• Supervise and participate in all assigned aspects of the campers’ day which includes but is not limited to: camper check-in and check-out; meal times; activities and extended am and extended pm duties as assigned.
• Attend and participate in two weeks of Leadership Staff Training and General Staff Training.

• Must be 20 years or older.
• Have knowledge in the supervision and safety of children.
• Posess leadership skills that can assist in encouraging and motivating campers.
• Ability to teach songs, crafts, games, stories, sports, and related skills is preferred.
• Must show enthusiasm. dedication, responsibility, and maturity and can interact and communicate clearly with campers, parents, and staff.
• Bachelors of the Arts or Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Physical Education, Education, or related fields is preferred (or working towards the degree).
