The Medford Township Public Schools is seeking an enthusiastic and student-centered Middle School Science Teacher to engage students through hands-on, inquiry-based instruction aligned to state standards. The ideal candidate will design engaging lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving while building strong relationships with students and families. Responsibilities include planning and delivering rigorous science instruction across life, physical, and earth sciences;
using data to inform instruction; differentiating to meet diverse learner needs; integrating technology; and collaborating with colleagues to support a positive and inclusive learning environment.
This position is tenure track and accrues seniority. The salaries listed represent the negotiated salaries for BA Step 1 (minimum) and MA+60 Step 16 (maximum). Actual salary is commensurate to experience and education. As per the negotiated agreement between the Medford Education Association and the Board of Education. Benefits are offered for single coverage in Years 1 and 2. Year 3 is two-party, and Year 4+ offers full family benefits.

Other Requirements:
The successful candidate must hold a valid New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE), whether it be CE, CEAS or Standard.
* Middle School with Subject Matter Specialization Grades 5-8 - Science (1103), or
* Elementary School Teacher (1000) with prior Science Teaching experience
