Elementary School, Special Education Teacher
The Medford Township Public Schools is seeking compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with students in Elementary School. This teacher will work collaboratively with support staff and related service providers to deliver high-quality, individualized instruction aligned to each student's IEP. The ideal candidate will have experience with differentiated instruction, assistive technology, and behavior management, and a deep understanding of the needs of students with complex learning and physical challenges.
SalaryRange
This position is tenure track and accrues seniority. The salaries listed below represent the negotiated salaries for BA Step 1 (minimum) and MA+60 Step 16 (maximum). Actual salary is commensurate to experience and education.
Benefits Description- Benefits are offered for single coverage in Years 1 and 2. Year 3 is two-party, and Year 4+ offers full family benefits.
- Medical, Prescription, Dental & Vision
- Students with Disabilities (NJDOE #2475), and
- Elementary School Teacher in Grades K-6 (NJDOE #1001), or
- Preschool through Grade 3 (NJDOE #1013)
- Strong knowledge of IEP develpoment, implementation and progress monitoring
