We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Medford. In this full time, year round, in person leadership role, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. Medford Nursery is a leading wholesale production farm in central New Jersey, managing over 400 acres and supplying high-quality shrubs, perennials, and roses to independent garden centers across the Northeast and Midwest. We are committed to excellence in plant health, sustainable practices, and cultivating a strong, skilled team.

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with product selection, answering inquiries, and processing orders.
• Conduct quality control checks on outgoing materials to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
• Perform daily dock checks to monitor inventory levels and product availability.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to follow up on deliveries, solicit orders, and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with the production team regarding product salability and inventory management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, including distribution of availability and future crops.
• Track customer shipments and communicate any changes or delays promptly.
• Assist with scheduling customer pickups and coordinating logistics.
• Prepare and distribute weekly photos of plant material to sales representatives and customers.
• Attend trade shows and visit customers as needed to promote products and strengthen relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales team and overall operations.

• Experience in inside sales, horticulture, or customer service.
• Knowledge of woody ornamentals, roses, and perennials.
• Proficiency in Excel is preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new products and technologies.
